- Color alerts: internal, qfeed invoked by seiscomp, alerting also on non-preferred origins if quality criteria met.
- Public alerts: invoked by seiscomp, on preferred origin only (note: preferred origin can change between scheduling origins and alarm-state-checking them)
- Small alerts: invoked by cron, on preferred origin only (the problem of missing the preferred origin is reduced, as automatic relocation ends sooner)
